Light: These plants do best in partial shade. It still tolerates short periods of the afternoon sun, but the intense sun will prove highly damaging to the plant.
Water: These plants prefers soil that holds moisture but is also well draining. Use lukewarm water for the best results. You may also mist the leaves with warm water to fasten the growth of young plants.
Fertilizer: Although fertilizer isn’t an absolute necessity and too much will damage the plant, autumn fern benefits from a light application of slow-release fertilizer just after growth appears in spring. Keep in mind that autumn fern is a naturally slow-growing plant.
Please note that these plants require regular watering. For this reason we only dispatch these orders on a Monday and Tuesday (to areas outside of Cape Town) so that the plants do not risk spending the weekend at the courier depot.
